For the first time in many years, the current real estate market in Seattle, including Belltown, is now a buyer's market.  Yes, the current economy is quite volatile and there are challenges that lay ahead.  However, many economic and local experts not only claim Seattle is currently one of the most stable real estate markets in the country, but they predict we will be one of the first cities to emerge from the current economic downturn. 

What does this mean to you?  2009 will most likely be the greatest buying opportunity for the foreseeable future.  Not just to purchase a home at very low pricing with favorable terms and historic low interest rates- but to find a home that meets not just your needs, but your wants as well, with very little competition among other buyers. 

As value is placed more so every day on living centrally to urban centers and abundant cultural activities, as well as shorter commuting, there has never been a time when living downtown has been more desirable.  This is why I believe Belltown is not ony the destination of Seattle that will prove to optimize your enjoyment in life, but will also be a conservative long-term investment.
